Important Traits of TBD Staff and Contractors
  • TBD relies on a combination of employees and contractors for its virtual labor pool. All our performance professionals are expected to be self-directed, self-disciplined, and strong team members.
  • We pride ourselves in that we are known for our flexibility to meet the needs of our clients, a core competency that makes us stand out from our competition. Projects evolve causing changes in what the client needs or how TBD staffs a project.
  • The variety of staff who work successfully with TBD have strong work ethics and are able to work independently and be successful with clients. As consultants, we know that asking the right questions, making suggestions, and speaking up are valuable behaviors.
  • We are proud of the competencies our company embraces:
    • Integrity
    • Client Focus
    • Quality
    • Team Work
    • Communication
    • Coaching
Contracting vs. Employment
  • Contractors work on a project-by-project basis. There is no guarantee of hours or ongoing work.
  • Large projects may provide the opportunity to work your desired level of hours over weeks or months.
  • There may be gaps in time from when one project ends and another project starts. Conversely, projects may overlap and there may be times when a contractor works on multiple projects.
  • Project assignments are made based on contractor skills and project needs.
  • TBD understands that contractors do not work exclusively for TBD and that you can accept or decline jobs as desired.
  • Contractors set their own hours and place of work but will need to be available to meet the client’s needs. Contractors must be available for on site meetings, virtual meetings and conference calls.
  • Contractors are free to take time off at any time; however, you are still responsible for meeting all client milestones and deliverables. Please discuss any planned time off with your Project Manager.
